How text alerts work

Enrollment happens in person.

TrackMyBite lets customers request an arrival alert for a particular vendor and stop without publishing the vendor's private route.

1. Read and scan

The vendor's tablet displays the program disclosure and a unique QR code. The code represents the vendor, stop, messaging program, and disclosure version—but contains no customer information.

2. Choose to send

Scanning opens the customer's normal messaging application with an enrollment message such as JOIN R7K4. The customer is not enrolled until they tap Send.

3. TrackMyBite records consent

TrackMyBite records the incoming message, time, program, enrollment context, and disclosure version. The participating vendor does not receive the mobile number.

4. Receive useful alerts

TrackMyBite confirms enrollment and sends up to three requested arrival or limited service messages each week. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for support.

Private stops remain private.

Enrollment URLs may be publicly accessible for compliance review, but TrackMyBite does not publish workplace addresses, future schedules, route histories, or a directory of private stops.
